FEATURES

  • The Model 900M has all the coil winding abilities of the 900A.
  • It has all the abilities of the Productor M using the Taily Controller..
  • It also has the ability to mount an 8" shuttle diameter winding head for the heavier wires to 16 AWG and occasionally 14 AWG wires, along with larger Toroids up to 7 1/2" in diameter.
  • A new Taping Head is available for taping coils up to 8" diameter and 3 1/4" high with tapes from 10 to 20 mm.
  • The program abilities are the same as with the Productor M machine. The difference between the machines is the addition of the 8" Head, the Taping Head and a larger motor to handle the heavier wires.
  • Programming and Recalling of Pre-Recorded 900 M Toroid Winding Programs.

The New Gorman 900 M has the ability to record and recall previously recorded programs. The Taily Controller can store over one hundred winding programs.

There are a total of 999 levels (or steps) available in the Taily memory.

The start level of a winding program is used for loading the proper amount of wire on the shuttle. The next level will start the wind and will show the number of turns, the shuttle direction, the core rotation direction and the stop count of the winding.

Programs are called up from memory by the start and finished numbered levels in each program.

A log book would be kept of all programs giving customer identification and a description of the Toroid. The program should be in consecutive order containing vital information such as wire and shuttle size, winding head size, toroidal core rotator diameter and core dimensions along with other pertinent information which can not be programmed into the controller.

All programs stored in one controller can be transferred to a new controller with a few simple commands. Programs can be deleted and the space left is available for new programs.
